Description:
This support group is intended for women (aged 18 and over) who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. It offers a safe, caring, and confidential space where each participant can share her story at her own pace and feel heard without judgment.
Throughout the sessions, participants have the opportunity to break isolation, find mutual support by forming a solidarity group, put words to their experiences, and explore new resources to move forward. The discussions are enriched with psychoeducational content and practical tools on topics such as emotional regulation, stress, self-esteem, communication, and setting boundaries.
The group is led by Cyrielle Huyghe and Maxime L’Herbette, psychologists specialized in trauma care and in supporting victims of violence. Speaking is never mandatory: attentive listening is also recognized as a meaningful form of participation and personal progress.
